EXCLUSIVE transfer updates: Inter want Ansaldi, Juve make bid for Cuadrado
INTER: the Nerazzurri are still looking to sign a reliable wingback after that Alex Telles, Martin Montoya and Davide Santon have failed to live up to promises after joining the San Siro outfit last summer. According to Romano, the benamata are tracking Genoa right-back Cristian Ansaldi, 29.
Inter want to sign him involving Diego Laxalt in a player-plus cash swap deal, but Genoa would need to sign Ansaldi on a permanent deal from Zenit St. Petersurg first. The grifone have a € 7 million option to make the player’s switch permanent in the summer.
As previously reported, Fenerbache’s Caner Erkin is also set to joining the nerazzurri side as a free agent at the beginning of next season.
JUVENTUS: With Jorge Mendes landing in Italy on Friday, Juventus will be trying to find economic agreement to persuade one of his most popular clients, Valencia’s Andre Gomes, to joining the Old Lady in the summer. Manchester United are also interested in signing the player, but finding an economic agreement with the player’s agent would put Juve in pole position for the talented Portuguese midfielder.
Chelsea loanee Juan Cuadrado is one of those players that Juventus want to keep in Turin. The Colombian winger is set to return to the Stamford Bridge, where Antonio Conte is ready to give him a starring role in his new Chelsea squad.
Giuseppe Marotta, however, will make Chelsea an offer trying to make Cuadrado’s switch permanent. It probably won’t be enough to persuade Antonio Conte, but the Serie A giants want to do everything they can to keep the former Fiorentina star at the J Stadium.
