FOCUS: Juve vs Leicester for Lapadula
Pescara president Daniele Sebastiani told Radio Olympia: “Lazio are concretely interested, they have been tracking the player for a long time; they want to sign him, but they will have to face a lot of competitors: Juventus –who have already signed our jewel Mandragora, Napoli, and, most of all, Leicester, are after our player. At the moment, a transfer to Leicester is the most concrete option, but I hope that it won’t happen like with Verratti, who joined a foreign club instead of an Italian one”.
Sebastiani has a gentlemen’s agreement with the bianconeri, and the player would of course love to join the club where he started his youth career; however, he is also attracted by an experience in England, and Ranieri would like to make him the “Italian Vardy”.
