Gabigol scores first Inter goal in friendly against FC Lugano

Inter newcomer Gabriel Barbosa scored his first goal with Inter in a friendly game played against Lugano on Thursday evening.

The Brazilian promise played as left winger in place of Ivan Perisic who is on duty with Croatia national team, like most of his teammates.

Rodrigo Palacio and Jonathan Biabiany were also deployed up front and Inter won the friendly for 1-0 thanks to the goal scored by the Brazilian striker from the spot.

Gabigol has one official appearance with Inter this season as he entered the pitch during Inter’s 1-1 draw over Genoa two weeks ago, whilst Ronald De Boer failed to give him any game time at all in the last Serie A game lost for 2-1 against AS Roma.

The Dutch boss believes that Gabigol is still not ready to sustain the rhythm of an average Serie A game and wants him to be fit before playing him in official games.

Gabigol joined Inter last summer in a € 30 million bid from Santos.
