Inter confirm Liverpool target could leave on loan in January

Inter director of sport Piero Ausilio released an interview with Premium Sport ahead of the nerazzurri Serie A clash to Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon. The club’s director gave some very interesting updates on the club’s transfer strategy for January, focusing also on Liverpool target Gabriel Garbosa who is struggling with game time in Serie A.

“We are listening to requests of our players. Gabriel Barbosa is improving and we hope that he’ll be play a bit more in the future. We’ll be playing many games in January and he could be given some more game time next month. If, however, he wants to leave on loan, we’ll be listening to his request.”

“We have no problems with Jovetic. We’ve had three managers and he’s had little game time with all of them. Jovetic is training well, but managers have the last word.”

“We want to sign a new midfielder in January but due to FFP rules we can only sign players on loan.”

“Pioli is involving as much players as he can, he’s doing a great job, but just 11 players can make the line-up, our team is very strong and Pioli is aware of it.”
