Inter: duel with Fiorentina for three players. Juventus: also Muniain on the wishlist

Seeking a high-rated player to enforce their offensive line, Inter Milan, as reported by La Nazione, is actually in competition with Fiorentina,  the real queen of the current transfer session: both clubs, in fact, are keen on Catania 24 year old Alejandro Gomez, Juventus 29 year old Fabio Quagliarella and Tottehnam 23 year old Giovani Dos Santos. The Mexico national could be part of a swap involving 32 year old goalkeeper Julio Cesar, as well, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, as 23 year old defensive midfielder Sandro and 25 year old winger Aaron Lennon; perhaps, The Spurs, according to the same media, are keen, together with Southampton, on another Inter target, Bologna 21 year old Gaston Ramirez, while the Daily Mirror confirms the Nerazzurri interest for Arsenal 23 year old Theo Walcott. According to Tuttosport, the Lombard club could be interested in a swap with Juventus involving 27 year old Giampaolo Pazzini and 27 year old Emanuele Giaccherini, but, interviewed by TJ, the agent of the former Cesena player has excluded this possibility. Coach Andrea Stramaccioni also needs a defensive midfielder, and if “La Gazzetta” substains that the negotiation for Manchester City 27 year old Nigel De Jong is actually on stand-by, according to the Daily Telegraph the nerazzurri have already offered 7 million euros to the Premier League Champions for the Dutchman, and the Citizens’manager Roberto Mancini seems intentionned to accept; but the right name, according to calciomercato.com, could be the one of Napoli 28 year old Walter Gargano.

As well known, the main target for Juventus’offensive line has become Athletic Bilbao 27 year old Fernando Llorente, but the bianconeri seem to be interested in another player of the Basque team, 20 year old left wingback Iker Muniain, whose termination clause amounts to 45 million euros. The Serie A champions don’t seem to have lost all their chances to sign Fiorentina 22 year old Stevan Jovetic: the viola, as sublined by calciomercato.com, have invested a lot in this transfer market, and will need –not necesserarly now- to earn some money, but, in any case, after building a competitive team, the Tuscan club could finally convince its fans to renounce to the Montenegro national.  Regarding the possible departures, 30 year old midfielder Michele Pazienza, could finally move, as reported by Tuttosport, to Lazio, while the Piedmontese club has announced through its official website the departure on loan of 29 year old midfielder Felipe Melo.
