Juventus pounce on Pjaca as Palmeiras block Gabriel Jesus’ exit

Palmeiras are not going to sell Gabriel Jesus in the summer. That’s what the Brazilian’s team coach has told Brazilian media.

“He’s only 19 and the best thing for him is to stay here and carry on growing. He will get a call-up with senior Brazil national team soon and it is too early for him to move to Europe.”

Juventus have been the first club to make concrete steps towards the starlet’s signing. The Old Lady has offered € 20 million, but Palmeiras only want to sell the player for the release fee (€ 40 million) at this stage.

Circumstances given, the bianconeri will make an attempt to sign Croatian wonderkid Marko Pjaca who has impressed at EURO 2016 despite not being a regular starter.

During an exclusive interview held on April, Pjaca told CM.com he’d like to move to Serie A. AC Milan and Fiorentina are long time admirers of the 21-year-old and Juventus want to steal the talented Croatian midfielder from under their rivals’ noses.
