Bad news for Juventus, whose center back Giorgio Chiellini has suffered a serious injury to his calf: it’s still unknown how long the Italy international will have to remain out of the pitch, but, also considering the recent departure of Lucio, the bianconeri seem to have speeded up the search of a new defender: Udinese 28 year old Danilo Larangeira remains one of the main options, as well as Atalanta same aged Federico Peluso, while it seems more difficult to obtain 32 year old Hugo Armando Campagnaro, whose contract with Napoli will expire at the end of the season and is also tracked by Inter Milan. Still regarding the defense, the Serie A defending champions are also seeking a left back, and, as reported by Tuttosport, in addition to Udinese 26 year old Pablo Armero, are also thinking about Borussia Dortmund 24 year old Marcel Schmelzer. The Piedmontese club keeps also on observing some young talents, and, according to the same media, has sent its agent to Scotland to observe Celtic 24 year old forward Gary Hooper. 

Also Inter Milan seem extremely attentive to the young players, and one of their targets, as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, is Bari 21 year old attacking midfielder Nicola Bellomo, also tracked by city rivals AC Milan.
