Lazio vs. Juve is the first match of the Serie A weekend and probably the most important game of week 15.

TABLE – Juve are seeking their 5th successive win. The Bianconeri are recovering from a terrible start to the season and Massimiliano Allegri’s  men sit now 5th in Serie A, seven points far from table leaders Napoli. On the other hand, Stefano Pioli is on this ice at the Stadio Olimpico. After six victories, one draw and seven losses, Lazio are 10th in the league and a defeat against in tomorrow’s game could convince president Claudio Lotito to sack Pioli and appoint Claudio Prandelli as the club’s new manager.

LAST SIX MATCHES – Lazio’s outcome in the last six Serie A games has been poor, in the slightest. Last time that Stefano Pioli’s men snatched a Serie A victory was on the 25th of October (3-0 against Torino). After that day they drew against Palermo (1-1) losing against Atalanta, Milan, Roma and Empoli.
Juve have lost just one of their last six games (1-0 against Sassuolo), while Massimiliano Allegri got the better of Atalanta, Torino, Empoli, Milan and Palermo.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS  -  Juve are unbeaten in their last eight games against Lazio (2 draws, 6 wins), while this is their second seasonal meeting. The two sides have already faced each other past August during the Italian Supercup final.
The first title of the year was lifted by the Bianconeri following a convincing 2-0 victory with Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala who wrote their names on the score sheet.

TOP SCORERS – Lazio’s top scorer is Felipe Anderson. The Brazilian winger netted four goals this term, while Paulo Dybala’s is the most affordable striker at Massimiliano Allegri’s disposal. The Argentinean scored 6 goals thus far.

NEXT TWO GAMES – Juve will face Fiorentina (at home) and Carpi (away) in the next two games. Lazio will host Sampdoria before facing a challenging San Sito clash against Inter ahead of the Christmas break.

Will Stefano Pioli be still sitting on Lazio's bench by that time?
