Inter: keen on Romero. AC Milan: van Ginkel could stay

Inter Milan are seeking the heir of their goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, who hasn’t extended his deal –currently expiring in June 2016- and could be then sold at the end of the season: according to the Corriere dello Sport, one of the nerazzurri’s main options in Sampdoria 28-year-old Sergio Romero; there have already been some contacts with Mino Raiola, agent of the Argentina international, whose contract will expire at the end of the current season; the alternatives to the former AZ Alkmaar player, as reported by the same media, remain Chelsea 32-year-old Petr Cech, Bayern Munich same-aged Pepe Reina, and Genoa 22-year-old Mattia Perin, but this latter could be signed only if the Lombard club will obtain an important amount by selling the Slovenia international; in the mid time, Handanovic’s current backup, 30-year-old Juan Pablo Carrizo, considered very important for the dressing room, could extend his deal with Inter. The nerazzurri are also seeking a right back, and are in competition with Southampton in the hunt for 26-year-old Micah Richards, whose contract with Manchester City is about to expire and is currently playing on loan at Fiorentina.
After a difficult start, 22-year-old midfielder Marco van Ginkel, currently at AC Milan on loan from Chelsea is having some good performances: as outlined by calciomercato.com, the rossoneri could ask the English club for a loan extension.
