Milan: Witsel won't join. Juve: attempt for Hamsik
As reported earlier today, AC Milan are trying to sign a new midfielder in these last hours of the Summer transfer window, and their main target for such position remains Zenit St. Petersburg 26-year-old Axel Witsel: the ultimatum given from the rossoneri to the Russian club has expired, and their offer hasn’t been accepted yet, so that the Belgium international could finally join Tottenham, who have made an offer in cash, while the Lombardian club would like to obtain the former Benfica player on loan with right to buy; another option for Milan’s midfield is Sampdoria 24-year-old Roberto Soriano, but the German-born Italian player is henceforth in advanced talks with Napoli. The rossoneri are also seeking a new winger, and, as reported yesterday, they are ready to offer 21-year-old midfielder Suso to Genoa to obtain 26-year-old Diego Perotti, but, as reported by gianlucadimarzio.com, the Spaniard has refused to join the rossoblu. The Lombardian club is also trying to use the last hours of the current transfer window to get rid of some of its team’s players: 17-year-old attacking midfielder Hachim Mastour will play for Malaga in the next two years. After failing in the attempt of signing Schalke 04 21-year-old Julian Draxler, Juventus still hope to obtain a new midfielder, and, as reported by Radio Marte, Napoli have refused the bianconeri’s offer for 28-year-old Marek Hamsik.
