Nainggolan wants Roma stay… and warns Pjanic to do the same

Miralem Pjanic and Radja Nainggolan have both seen their names linked with big money moves away from AS Roma. The Bosnian playmaker has been strongly linked in recent weeks with a move to Serie A rivals Juventus while the latter is said to be one of the names on incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte’s wish-list.  Both men are happy in the Italian capital though, something they have often come out and said personally.

The two Roma stars have been integral to the team under Rudi Garcia and current boss Luciano Spalletti, starring on the pitch, but they could also help the club in other ways such as balancing the books and avoid violating Financial Fair Play regulations by being sold to the highest bidder. Furthermore, some of the cash raised could be used to reinvest in a squad capable of mounting a title challenge next season.

In the meantime, Nainggolan was interviewed by iltempo.it on the matter: “I have already said what I think. Pjanic? I’ll stay if he stays… I’m joking. I have told him though that if he goes to Juventus, he should never talk to me again. Me to Juve? I have already answered this 10 times. Stay at Roma? I have said I want to stay.”
