The relationship between Napoli and striker Manolo Gabbiadini is at an all-time low. The 24-year-old frontman has failed to fill the boots of the injured Arek Milik and his relationship with coach Maurizio Sarri looks to be forcing him towards to a January exit. His agent, Silvio Pagliari, was a guest on Rai Sport on Thursday and he was asked to put people in the picture over the current situation. He explained that; “There lacks a spark between Sarri and Manolo, I hope it will be lit very soon”.
 

He continued; “Sarri has not adapted his tactics to the strengths of Manolo”. His current deal expires in 2019 and talks over a possible extension broke down earlier this week. Gabbiadini was close to a summer move to Everton but chose to remain at the San Paolo.  This latest breakdown in communication could hasten his departure with the Premier League side continuing to monitor the situation with interest.
