Pioli: 'We took a step back, we did not have any personality tonight'

Inter lost to Napoli tonight by a 3-0 scoreline. After the game, Inter coach Stefano Pioli spoke to Premium Sport, here is what he had to say : " We took a step back tonight, we did not approach the game in the right way. Napoli are a very good team so if you don't play like you should, then it will always be hard. We did create a few good chances but we couldn't finish them off. We are looking to get the right balance but it is also clear that we have to concede less goals. We have only been working together for a little period of time but we are going to have to improve ".

THE GROUP IS UNITED -  "We want to climb back up the standings but we are far back. We have been working on many different aspects and we have been training very well. We now have to apply it better in real games. The group is united and they want to work hard in an attempt to climb back up the Serie A standings ".

NOT ENOUGH PERSONALITY-  Pioli added this in an interview with Sky Sport:  "We were lacking personality tonight, a squad with personality does not concede two goals in five minutes at the start of a game. Icardi and Perisic had many chances but they weren't clinical enough. Biglia? He is not one of my players so I don't want to talk about it, I am working with what I have. Kondogbia? He is is young but he does have experience. I play him since he does well in training with us during the week. I field the players who deserve to play  ".
