End of the soap opera: Flamengo has announced the engagement of Ronaldinho. The Brazilian ace has signed a contract until 2014, nearly a million per year and will wear the number 10 shirt. Milan will get a figure close to 3 million euro.

Here are the first comments from Ronaldinho as the new Flamengo player: "I thank the fans for the nice welcome, I have returned to Brazil to give my best and dream of the next World Cup."

AC Milan said: "AC Milan announces that it has sold outright to the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo the footballer Ronaldinho, who the club thanks for the excellent services provided and wish him a rich and successful career in the future".
