After the signing Marcos Alonso, Chelsea set sights on two more Fiorentina players

Chelsea completed the € 27 signing of Marcos Alonso from Fiorentina last summer and, according to reports from Italy, the Premier League giants have their radars still set on the Artemio Franchi as Antonio Conte is reportedly interested in two more players of Fiorentina.

Nenad Tomovic and Federico Bernardeschi are said to be transfer targets of the Stamford Bridge outfit, though Conte would only buy the centre defender in January to get a first option clause to sign the promising Italian winger in summer 2017. Bernardeschi has four goals and two assists in 15 games in all competitions so far this season.

Tomovic, 29, has plenty of experience as right defender in a three-man line; the same used by both Antonio Conte and Paulo Sousa and would have no problems adapting to Chelsea’s 3-4-3 system.

Bernardeschi has also played as winger in a four-man midfield and would be a quality replacement for Victor Moses who has an endless run but not as much quality as the Fiorentina star.

Fiorentina and Chelsea did not used to be on very good terms after the Salah-saga, but the two parties are said to have had their relationship back after last summer’s Marcos Alonso deal.
