Juve-PSG on collision course in chase for Isak

After Zlatan Ibrahimović left Paris Saint-Germain, the role of chief goalscorer was passed to Uruguayan frontman Edinson Cavani. So far he has been doing a good job having netted 11 times in nine games in all competitions.

The man they call “Matador” lacks the leadership and the charisma of the big Swede and with a contract expiring in 2018 and as we reported earlier on Calciomercato.com, strong interest from Atletico Madrid and an unnamed Premier League club, the French champions are looking to the future and in particular, at Alexander Isak.

The 17-year-old Swedish youngster, who is already being called the “New Ibrahimović”, is tipped for great things having now made his debut for his country’s Under 21 side last week. The Parisians are not going to have everything their own way for the AIK Solna man however, with Juventus also pursuing the player with interest but PSG have already offered €10 million to the Scandinavian club and are one step ahead of the bianconeri.

After the controversy surrounding the Kingsley Coman, who eventually joined Bayern Munich, the summer saga that was Blaise Matuidi and the youngster Nanitamo Ikone, AIK will wait for a response from Juve before closing out any business with the side from the French capital.
