“ATTACK!” screamed outgoing Milan President some time ago when Pippo Inzaghi’s team were failing to find the net; Milan 2016-17 is a very different proposition however with Tuttosport stating that the five strikers at Vincenzo Montella’s disposal, Bacca, Luiz Adriano, Niang, Lapadula and Sosa having scored 63 goals between them last season. Only Juventus can boast more.
 

From a defence which seems to bring little confidence to Milan fans, Montella looks to have the guarantee of goals in his team, providing they get the right service. The problem of course, is the quality of the opposition they are facing and whether they will allow this to happen. At the moment then, the new coach’s tactics seem to be get the ball forward from Donnarumma as quickly as possible and attack!.
