Bayern Munich reportedly consider move for Jurgen Klopp to replace Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti’s Bayern Munich are not in the form of their lives being three points behind table leaders Leipzig in Bundesliga and having lost for 3-2 against Rostov in Champions League earlier this week.

According to today’s edition of the Mirror, Bayern Munich executives are everything but happy with the results of the Bavarians under the Italian manager and are considering taking Jurgen Klopp back to Germany.

Klopp has impressed in his 13-month spell at Liverpool, so much so the Anfield hierarchy have offered him a six-year contract extension last summer, which means the German’s boss deal with Liverpool is set to expire in June 2022.

Ancelotti, on the other hand, took control of Bayern Munich last summer signing a contract until 2019. If the Italian tactician fails to take home any silverware this season, the Bavarians might decide to terminate his contract two years before its natural expiration date, but they’d need to persuade Liverpool to offload Klopp, possibly not the easiest tasks ever given the results of the German boss in charge of the Reds.
