Boca Juniors president meet Juventus to finalize starlet’s move

Boca Juniors’ president Daniel Angelici will meet Juventus between today and tomorrow to finalize Rodrigo Bentancur’s move to the J Stadium. The Old Lady has activated her first-option clause to sign the promising Uruguayan midfielder for € 9.4 million.

Juventus managed to get such a convenient clause in 2015 when they sold Carlos Tevez to Boca Juniors for just € 1 million.

Angelici is now ready to finalize the deal even if the president of Boca Juniors could raise the bar and ask for more money given that many top European clubs had been chasing the talented starlet.

Real Madrid, Manchester United and AC Milan wanted to sign Bentancur”, Angelici told Radio Marca yesterday.

Juventus could decide to meet Boca Juniors halfway and add a percent of profit from next clause so that Boca can cash in € 15 million, which is exactly how much they’d asked to every other club interested in Bentancur.
