Croatia doctor hits out at Juventus medical staff over Pjaca’s injury

Croatia national team doctor Igor Boric has hit out at Juventus medical staff that has allegedly misdiagnosed Marko Pjaca’s fibula fracture as a fibula infraction.

The Croatian starlet picked up the injury at the beginning of October while on International duty with his national team. The player was expected to have a quick recovery and return to action within a few weeks. As of today, however, Pjaca has yet to return to training and his comeback is still uncertain.

Talking to Croatian media, Mr. Boris has attacked Juventus medical staff.

“When the player underwent medical tests last month we understood straight away that it was a fibula fracture”, the Croatian doctor has said.

“Juventus’ response, however, was inappropriate as they told us we shouldn’t have thought them how to make their job.”

“When Pjaca made return to Turin, they also found out that we got the diagnosis right. I don’t think I’m saying a blasphemy when I says that we have a better staff here than at Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus.”
