Does Marco Fassone's trip to China tell us something of Milan's future?

AC Milan have build another bridge with China.

Set to be taken over by a consortium of businessmen rumoured to be supported by the Chinese State, the Rossoneri recently saw director of sport Marco Fassone fly to the East, and visit Beijing.

While he was there, he seemed to confirm that East Asian power is involved… by visiting the headquarters of the China State Construction Engineering Corporation, the third biggest of its kind in the world, and owned by the state.

Fassone was shown the construction site of a new training centre in Beijing, a funny coincidence since Milan themselves want to build a new stadium, a dream of the club’s new far-Eastern owners.
The closing date for the new deal is set to for the middle of next month, something which has come under threat since revelations were made that some of the guarantees sent to the Rossoneri were fake.

Could this visit be more than about getting in touch with China? It looks like it.
