Exclusive: Chelsea target Koulibaly ‘has many admirers’ says agent
Koulibaly will play the African cup of nations in January with his national team, but that is not going to discourage Conte from making a new bid for the solid rock centre-back.
Napoli are considering signing Chelsea defender Zouma to replace Koulibaly in January and the Serie A side are not open to sell their defender given that they refused an offer of € 50 million from the South-West London club last summer.
Koulibaly’s agent Bruno Satin has released an exclusive interview with calciomercato.com revealing that many clubs are interested in signing him but adding that his client is in no rush over his future. The 25-year-old defender has recently extended his contract until 2021.
“The contract extension is deserved. Koulibaly is only focused on Napoli, there is no time to do anything else amid Champions League and Serie A games.”
“Many clubs are interested in signing him and whenever a big club will need a centre-back they’ll definitely think about him as Koulibaly is one of the most complete centre defenders out there. Now, however, is not the right time to talk about the transfer market.”
