Exclusive Inter plan swap with Jiangsu to bring Roger Martinez to Milan | by Emanuele Tramacere

Inter are planning a swoop for January which could make a huge difference next season in attack.

Roger Martinez has scored 13 goals in 15 games this season for Jiangsu Suning, who are connected to Inter Milan through their owners.

Now, we can exclusively reveal that they’re thinking about bringing the 22-year-old Colombian to Milan, but to avoid having to add him to their non-EU quote, which is currently full.

How? They’re planning a swap with Stevan Jovetic, who they are planning to send to Jiangsu (who need a top player to pursue their own goals) in exchange for Martinez, who they want to bring to Italy.

The idea, however, is that Martinez would got to an allied club, one like Chievo, Cagliari and Pescara. The Dolphins are the likeliest to accept, since they’re lacking a striker who can help them score goals on a regular basis. The Nerazzurri could then pick him up without having to use up a non-EU slot.

Remember, Martinez revealed that his move to Jiangsu was a means of eventually ending up at Inter, anyway.
