Exclusive: Juventus send scout to watch the ‘next Milik’

Juventus are scouting Ajax promise Kasper Doldberg, calciomercato, com’s reporter Nicola Balice has exclusively learned.

Dolberg is tipped to become the next Arkadiusz Milik as the 19-year-old hit-man has replaced the Polish striker as Ajax’s centre forward this season managing eight goals and three assists in 20 games in all competitions so far this season.

Dolberg has been impressing for the Dutch club this term, so much so Age Hareide has given him his first call up to Denmark national team and Dolberg could make his debut with his national team’s senior squad tomorrow against Kazakhstan.

Dolberg has managed to pick up the baton of Milik in terms of goals scored, technique and personality and has impressed Juventus scouts in the opening games of the 2016-17 campaign even if the Old Lady had not sent her scouts to watch the promising Danish striker, but his teammates Klaasen and Bazoer instead.

Ajax signed ‘the next Milik’ in summer 2014 from Elfsborg for just € 300.000. The striker’s market value is now around € 2 million and with Juventus actively looking for a potential replacement for Mario Mandzukic next season, Milik’s heir could be exactly what the Serie A giants are looking for.
