    Gigi Buffon reveals which club he supports other than Juventus and why

    Juventus are not the only club supported by legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. The Italy shot-stopper is a fan of the Old Lady, but has recently admitted his admiration for Borussia Monchengladbach too. When Juventus played the Bundesliga side in Champions League last season, Buffon gifted a pair of his gloves to supporters of the German club but received nothing in return.

    Borussia Monchengladbach have then decided to send him a scarf of the club and Buffon has taken a picture holding it.

    “I’ve always supported Borussia Monchengladbach since I’m a child. Why? because I didn’t know how to pronounce their name. They’ve always been an entangling team to me. I have a better pronunciation now, but I still think that’s not the correct one.”

    ​Borussia Monchengladbach have sent him a ‘German team’ scarf which they’ve recently started producing after that an Irish pub in Glasgow had jokingly renamed them faking not to be able to spell their correct name.
