Inter, AC Milan target Aleix Vidal denies Sevilla rumours

Barcelona right-back Aleix Vidal is set to leave the Nou Camp in the January transfer window as the versatile Spanish defender is sick and tired of lack of game time at Barcelona and aims to collect more appearances somewhere else.

According to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, Vidal has told his teammates at Barcelona not to be willing to return to his old club Sevilla in the winter transfer window as he had been linked with a return to the Sanchez Pizjuan.

Vidal impressed during his one-year spell at the club as he managed 11 assists and six goals in 46 appearances, helping his old club to win the Europa League in 2015.

Vidal’s claims give hop to both Inter and AC Milan that are being linked with signing the player in the incoming transfer window. Vidal can either play as right-back or attacking winger and both Serie A giants would need some reinforcement on their wings and will approach Barcelona over the transfer of the 27-year-old.
