Mauro Icardi opened Inter’s account netting from the spot in the first half, minutes before Susnjar’s equalizer. Inter took the lead thanks to a goal came courtesy of promising defender Miangue, whilst Biabiany also found the net of the goal to score the 3-1.

Pioli deployed a 4-2-3-1 formation with Samir Handanovic in goal, D’Ambrosio, Andreolli, Miangue and Santon at the back, Felipe Melo and Geoffrey Kondogbia in midfield, Biabinay, Gabigol and Bakayoko behind the sole striker Mauro Icardi.

Pioli has just been appointed as Inter’s new boss to replace sacked Frank De Boer.
