    Juve: Preziosi admits Genoa interest

Brazilian midfielder Hernanes is edging closer to a move away from Juventus in January. Tuttosport has been in touch with Genoa President Preziosi, as rumours of his possible new year arrival continue to grow.

The patron explained that; “Hernanes has always interested us and we see him as the ideal player to give us that leap in quality. If Juve are open to a sale, then we are ready to sit down and negotiate”. There has been talk of a possible exchange deal involving the 31-year-old and Tomas Rincon, the 28-year-old Venezuelan midfielder who has had an impressive campaign with the rossoblu.

Juventus have been trying to off-load Hernanes since the summer but the player has rejected several offers to take him away from Turin. He has a contract until 2018 and still commands a huge salary at the club. The power brokers would like to eliminate him from the payroll and this latest opportunity could finally see that happen.
