    Juventus: the sprint for Verratti

Juventus continue to hunt for a new midfielder if not in January, then definitely for next season. According to this morning’s Tuttosport, the player that remains the number one objective is PSG’s Marco Verratti. The journal claims that the 24-year-old will leave the French capital at the end of the current campaign and that the bianconeri are set to bring him back to his homeland. Their quest however, will not be all plain sailing with both Milan and German giants Bayern Munich also in pursuit.

    MATUIDI:
As well as Verratti, Juventus continue to monitor the situation with his club mate Blaise Matuidi. The 28-year-old was close to making the switch to Serie A in the summer but the deal fell through due to fact that the French champions refused to let him leave. Bianconeri CEO Beppe Marotta has never hidden the secret that they could renew their interest in January and this is exactly what could happen.
