    Liverpool , 40 million euros for Hector Herrera

    Hector Herrera was a Liverpool target at some point last summer but in the end, a deal failed to materialize. It now seems that Liverpool as well as Juventus and Napoli are yet again targeting the player. According to A Bola, Liverpool are ready to dish out 40 million euros to acquire him. His current contract expires in 2019 with Porto. Liverpool could be considered to be in pole position but Juventus are also interested in the player as Herrera's agent offered the player to the reigning Serie A champions. It has been well known that Juve are looking for a new midfielder but Herrera's style of play might not be exactly what Juventus are lookling for. 

    Herrera has scored one goal so far in this new campaign as his Porto side are currently third in the Portuguese league standings with 21 points. That's five points off first placed Benfica.
