According to today’s edition of the Daily Mail, Manchester City have set sights on Palmeiras centre-back Yerry Mina who is also on AC Milan and Barcelona’s radars.

The LaLiga giants are said to have a firs-option clause to sign the Colombia International who has been tracked by Serie A side AC Milan as well.

With Pep Guardiola who is considering signing a new centre-back in the January window, the promising 22-year-old starlet is believed to be one of the priorities of the Catalan boss who, at the same time, could decide to offload Manchester City’s captain Vincent Kompany with the Belgium International who is failing to get regular game time under the former Barcelona boss so far this season.

Mina is considered one of the best prospects in South America as well as one of the most complete centre-backs of the Brazilian league. He has four goals in 24 appearances with Palmeiras so far this season and has already registered two appearances with senior Colombia national team.

He could be available in the market for € 5 million.
