Il centrocampista del Milan, Kevin Prince Boateng, ha annunciato il ritorno ufficiale nella nazionale del Ghana. Lo ha fatto inviando una lettera ufficiale alla federcalcio del suo paese. Il centrocampista aveva annunciato l'addio alla nazionale due anni fa.

Questa la lettera, in inglese, che Boateng ha spedito alla sua federcalcio e pubblicata dal sito afrikansoccer.com: "Dear Sir, I write to inform the Ghana Football Association that after a few consultations, I have decided to change my decision and confirm my availability to play for the Black Stars whenever I am needed. It is my wish that this letter finds you well. Thank you. Yours faithfully, Kevin Prince Boateng".
