President Pescara: "Lapadula? Depends on Milan. We are also thinking of Mandragora

Rolando Mandragora was a player Juventus were prepared to pay €7 million plus bonus to Genoa for in the summer but a metatarsal injury has slowed down his progress in Turin. Once he is fully recovered, there are plenty of suitors out there who would like to take him on-loan. Pescara are one of those clubs and President Daniel Sebastiani has been speaking exclusively to Calciomercato.com

Having already had the 19-year-old on-loan last season, Sebastiani was asked if a return was a concrete possibility to which he replied; “Firstly, the boy is working hard to recover from injury and no-one is quite sure when he will return. I’m not sure if Juve has the intention of sending him on-loan in January”. Asked if he had made any contact with the bianconeri he stated; “No, there has been no contact at this time”.

He was asked if he was offered Mandragora and out of favour Milan striker Gianluca Lapadula (another former Pescara player) a chance to return he stated that; “If Milan and Juve are both open to a loan then I’ll take them both for sure. First of all however, I will speak with the coach about where he wants reinforcements”.
