Spurs: will it be third-time lucky in their pursuit of Sandro?

According to reports from the UK, Spurs are in pursuit of Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez for the third transfer window in succession.

The 21-year-old former Barcelona youth product is believed to be the man boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to replace the mis-firing Vincent Janssen, the player who the North London opted for when they missed out on the man from the Canary Islands in the summer. The Argentine tactician looks to have finally run out of patience with the Dutch international, who failed to fill the shoes of England frontman Harry Kane during his injury lay-off.

Sandro is currently valued at around £15 million and has started the new season well in La Liga, scoring five goals in 10 appearances for Malaga. He first appeared on the Spurs radar back in 2012when he scored against them in the Next Gen youth tournament and Pochettino is a known admirer of a player who can play in a number of positions up front.
