Zapata, from Juve to a future with Napoli

Beat Juve on Saturday to prove to Napoli that they can beat Juve in May; this is the plan for Udinese striker Duvan Zapata as he heads to the J Stadium with his teammates for the Saturday night clash. It will be a chance for the 25-year-old Colombian to try to get the better of the man who kept him out of the first team at the San Paolo, Gonzalo Higuain.

Zapata arrived in Friuli in 2015 on a two-year loan from the vesuviani and after a great start to his career in Udine, he suffered a muscle tear that kept him side-lined until January of this year. He’s been on target twice during the current campaign and with current Napoli frontman Arek Milik out for anything from four to six months after undergoing knee surgery, Zapata has the opportunity to impress Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri and maybe make a surprise return to the club in January 2017 and beat off competition from other prospective targets such as Pavoletti and Defrel.
