Fiorentina want TV rights distributed more equally

This one should be interesting: Fiorentina’s managing director, Andrea Rogg, has let it be known that he wants the proceeds from TV rights deals to be shared out more evenly among Serie A teams. 

“The current rules are no longer credible”, he told assembled media, “We’d like to modify the parameters, and not just take into account how many viewers a team draws, but the amount of season ticket holders, participation in cups and results over the last decade”. 

It will be hard for Fiorentina to form a bloc against the all-powerful big three, but it’s worth a try.
