Zanetti; "Simeone will return to Inter in the future"

Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti has been speaking to Nacion. He began by giving his opinion on the current coaching situation, stating that; “At the moment, Roberto Mancini is our manager so it would be disrespectful to talk about other names”. On the Mauro Icardi situation he explained that; “He is still young and must focus all his attentions on playing. The intention is that he stays with us but he must be aware what it means to play for Inter”.

He was also asked if former player and current Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone would one day return to the club. Zanetti replied; “In the future I would imagine that Simeone will return to Inter”. It’s clear that the Argentine legend believes his fellow countryman will one day return to the nerazzurri.
