AC Milan, José Sosa linked with early return to Turkey

AC Milan midfielder José Sosa is being linked with a shock early return to Turkey. According to fotomac.com, Fenerbache have made contact with AC Milan, sounding the availability of the Argentine midfielder who swapped Besiktas with the Serie A giants last summer for € 7.5 million.

Sosa was one of the few signings completed by AC Milan in the previous transfer window, but the former Napoli and Bayern Munich man is failing to impress under Vincenzo Montella this term.

The Italian tactician usually plays the likes of Giacomo Bonaventura and Juraj Kucka in midfield with Manuel Locatelli deployed as playmaker in front of defence.
Sosa, 31, has only collected 234 minutes spread in five appearances and AC Milan could be open to sell the player in the January window.

The Turkish new outlet reports that Galatasaray are also interested in bringing the player back to the country though a swap deal involving Weslay Sneijder and the Argentine midfielder is not likely to take place. Sneijder, a 2010 Inter treble hero, revealed last week to be dreaming of playing for the Serie A giants one day.
