Arsenal, PSG target Draxler ‘not leaving in January’

Arsenal target Julian Draxler is not going to leave Wolfsburg despite the economic crisis faced by Volkswagen. The Bundesliga giants’ director of sport Klaus Allofs has released an interview with Agence confirming that the Germany International is not going to leave the club before the end of the season.

“There is no reason to discuss about a potential transfer now. Changing our players is not among our priorities. Everything we want now is to see the team delivering good performances. We are not going to make radical changes in the near future.”

Draxler, 23, is a transfer target of both Arsenal and PSG. The Wolfsburg’s winger was on the Ligue1 giants’ radars next summer, but PSG failed to find economic agreement with Wolfsburg at the time.

Juventus had been also chasing the talented winger in the past, but the Old Lady is not likely to invest big on the player who is not delivering good performances since snubbing the bianconeri to move to Wolfsburg in 2015.
