Inter: Biglia the first gift for Pioli

Stefano Pioli has won the race to be the new coach of Inter and he will be rewarded with some January signings sanctioned by new owners Suning.

    BIGLIA:
He wants a midfield director and his former captain Lucas Biglia fits the bill. The 30-year-old is under contract at Lazio until June 2018 and currently earns €1.4 million net per season. To renew his exicsting deal, the player wants to double this amount but President Claudio Lotito does not seem prepared to meet these demands. A few months ago he placed a €30 million price-tag on the players head but now it’s believed that the nerazzurri could take the Argentine for around €20 million.

    OTHER NAMES:
According to Tuttosport, Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian remains a possibility with Felipe Melo possibly heading to China to join Jiangsu (the team owned by Suning). French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia may also make the switch to the Premier League to join Chelsea.
