But, most of all, the Lombard club is seeking a new striker, and, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, are thinking about Arsenal 28 year old Lukas Podolski, who seems intentioned to quit the English club, and Hoffenheim 22 year old Roberto Firmino, also tracked by Liverpool. The market duel with The Gunners could also involve, as highlighted by calciomercato.com, Benfica 22 year old Rodrigo Moreno Machado. Inter, as well known, also need to reinforce their team’s flank, and are tracking Fluminense 26 year old Carlos Andrade Souza, aka Carlinhos, even if the Tricolor Carioca are trying to renew the contract of the Brazil international. As reported by Tuttosport, Juventus General Manager Giuseppe Marotta has been seen in Barcelona together with Bayern Munich chariman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge: the two executives might have talked about 27 year old forward Mario Mandzukic and 24 year old midfielder Toni Kroos, but also about 20 year old Paul Pogba and 26 year old Arturo Vidal, tracked by Die Roten.
