Lazio: Lotito rejects Lyon offer for Djordjevic

According to Il Messaggero, Lazio President Claudio Lotito has rejected a €7 million offer from Lyon for striker Filip Djordjevic. The 29-year-old is out of favour in the Italian capital and is looking for a January move away from the club he joined in 2014 from Nantes. Djordjevic enjoyed the best years of his career with the French club and is open to a move back to France.

The Serbian international has been blighted by injury during his spell in the Eternal City which has limited him to just 59 appearances during this time and seen him find the net on just 11 occasions. Lyon fear that they may lose ace marksman Alexandre Lacazette and see the Lazio man as a good-value replacement. However, patron Lotito, notoriously difficult to deal with in the transfer market, values his player far more than the Ligue 1 side are prepared to offer at the moment.
