Stefano Pioli is set to be appointed as new Inter boss. The Italian tactician has had a final meeting with representatives of the Serie A giants today and has agreed terms with the nerazzurri. An official announcement is expected within hours, meantime calciomercato.com has exclusively learned the details of Pioli’s Inter contract.

Our Inter reporter Pasquale Guarro reports that Pioli met representatives of the club in Milan city centre on Monday evening. Pioli entered Inter headquarters at 3.30 pm, leaving the building three hours later alongside the Serie A side’s lawyer Angelo Cappellini (watch video below).

Calciomercato.com has also exclusively learned the details of Pioli’s Inter contract. The former Lazio boss has agreed a € 1.3 million deal until 2018. The manager’s contract includes a ‘way-out’ clause which allows the Italian tactician to get a payout in case his contract is cancelled before its natural expiration.

Inter are going to announce Pioli’s appointment within hours, probably between tonight and tomorrow morning. The manager has already found agreement with Inter and both parties are only waiting for Lazio to cancel their agreement with Pioli and give him green light to join Inter. Pioli could take his first training session as Inter boss on Wednesday and his debut on the nerazzurri bench will be in the derby of Milan on Sunday the 19th of November.
