Napoli, De Laurentiis welcomes Milik and waits for Icardi

Through his Twitter profile, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has announced the signing of the Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik. The player has then appeared on the pitch before the friendly game against Nice.

The 22-year-old has chosen the number 99 jersey, while the number 9 is still free, and could be worn during the next season by Mauro Icardi.

The azzurri have made a last offer to Inter Milan: €70 million cash or €50 million plus Manolo Gabbiadini. Napoli will wait three or four days, then they will go for other options, like AC Milan 28-year-old Carlos Bacca, Fiorentina same-aged Nikola Kalinic and Chelsea 27-year-old Diego Costa. The latter could leave the Blues because of the imminent arrival of Romelu Lukaku.
