AC Milan's #1 Berlusconi backs Mihajlovic
Today, at “Milanello” training camp, AC Milan president and major shareholder Silvio Berlusconi has spoken to the press. About his team’s moment, the former Italian Prime Minister said: “We have left a formation that wasn’t working out and we are recovering the typical Milan playing-style: ball on the deck and keeping possession. When Balotelli and Menez will be available, we’ll have an extremely offensive squad”.
“It’s a shame about his back injury” Berlusconi said about the Frenchman “because with the ‘new’ Balotelli he would have made a real powerful offensive line. He could also play as an attacking midfielder behind Balotelli and Bacca” he added.
About Kevin-Prince Boateng –currently training with the rossoneri and intended to join them during the next transfer window, Berlusconi said: “He’s not afraid to have a crack on goal, mentally and physically he’s suited to play as a center-forward. It will all depend from his physical conditions”
Finally, regarding the first team’s head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, the Lombard tycoon stated: “He’s a strong person, he never gives up. I’ve always found him to be confident in helping the team getting positive results. As a club, we’ve always been respectful towards our coaches; we kept Inzaghi until the end”.
