Chapecoense: when Neto woke up from his coma, he wanted to know the final score

Chapecoense defender Neto ( one of the few survivors of the airplane crash) woke up from the coma which he was in. Immediately, he wanted to know the score of the game, the one that Chapecoense was supposed to play in before the airplane crash. The charter jet that was transporting the Chape players as well as coaches and officials crashed last week in Colombia. Only three players survived : Neto (who is still in intensive care), back-up keeper Jackson Ragner Follmann and defender Alan Ruschel.

Reports in Brazil are saying that Neto keeps asking about that game as he wants to know the score but his current doctors and his psycologist do not want to tell him what happeded as his condition might then get worse (because of the eventual emotional stress).

Neto was taken off life support last Saturday as his recovery slowly continues. The good news in all of this is that he might eventually be able to play football again.
