Eder blames teammates and club for De Boer’s sacking

Inter striker Eder has blamed his teammates and the club, saying that they are among those to be blamed for Frank De Boer’s sacking.

The Dutch boss paid the highest price earlier this week when he was sacked as Inter boss after losing seven of their opening 14 games.

Talking to Premium Sport ahead of Inter-Crotone on Sunday evening, Eder said: “When a manager is sacked, the players and the club must be blamed.”

“We can do something more, Vecchi has prepared us very well. We were a bit unlucky on Thursday when single episodes decided the game.”

“The team is ready, but it’s now up to us. We have to snatch a good result today against a very good team like Crotone, we must remain focused.”

Inter are said to have taken a final decision over De Boer’s successor as Stefano Pioli is expected to be named as Inter’s new boss.
