Outlining all players Real Madrid could offer in exchange for Paul Pogba

Juventus don’t want to sell Paul Pogba, but if rumours coming from Spain will be confirmed (Real Madrid are reportedly ready to offer € 120 million for the French star), the Old Lady will necessarily consider the player’s sale.

The bianconeri have yet to receive any official offer for their ace and will only to proposals exceeding € 100 million. Pogba joined Juventus on a free transfer from Manchester United four years ago and selling the player would allow the club to register a record capital gain.

Florentino Perez is desperate to sign Pogba who claimed a starring role in Juventus’ domestic treble (Serie A, Coppa Italia, Supercup) in each of the last two seasons.

Real Madrid could involve one of their stars in a player plus cash swap deal to sign the 23-year-old midfielder. Juventus would still ask for a cash offer in the region of € 70-80 million.

Spanish media have been reporting that Toni Kroos might be shown the Bernabeu’s exit door after the arrival of Pogba, so why don’t offering him in exchange for the former Man Utd promise? Kroos failed to live up to expectations in the 2015-16 campaign and is also a target of José Mourinho at Manchester United.

Mateo Kovacic is another midfielder linked with a move to Juventus. The arrival of Pjanic, however, could lover his chances of wearing the black-and-white shirt and also Isco, believed to be a long time target of the Old Lady, is not likely to move to the J Stadium in the summer anymore.

James Rodriguez
, on the other hand, would be perfect for the bianconeri project. The Colombian ace is sick and tired of watching the BBC (Benzema-Bale-Cristiano) from the bench and could decide to join another BBC (Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini) in Turin.  He can play both as offensive midfielder or winger and could give Massimiliano Allegri a chance to vary the tested and reliable 3-5-2 system.

In the end, there is Alvaro Morata. Giuseppe Marotta might ask Perez to cancel the player’s buy-back clause and take Pogba for less a cash offer around € 80 million. Real Madrid, however, have already received offers in the region of € 60 million for Morata and they are not very likely to leave the Spaniard in Turin.
