Juventus to receive offer for Stefano Sturaro

Zenit St. Petersburg are looking to improve their midfield and have apparently made Italy their favourite destination to sign players.

A number of reports from Italy have linked the Russian club with welcoming the services of both Leandro Paredes of AS Roma and Fernando of Sampdoria. The Brazilian defender is also chased by rivals Spartak Moscow.

According to Gazzamercato Mircea Lucescu’s side are also interested in signing Juventus and Italy national team midfielder Stefano Sturaro.

The Russian side will make an offer in the next few days and the Old Lady will evaluate with Massimiliano Allegri whether to sell or keep the player.

Juventus have announced the signing of Miralem Pjanic and will sign one more midfielder this summer, that’s why Sturaro is believed to be one of those players the Serie A giants could offload alongside Hernanes, Asamoah, Pereyra and Mario Lemina.

Sturaro played in place of Daniele De Rossi in Italy’s defeat against Germany that cost the azzurri the elimination from EURO 2016. The product of Genoa academy scored two goals and registered one assist in 28 games with the Old Lady last term.
