Barcelona begin new contract talks with Luis Suarez
The blaugrana want to ward off interest of Premier League giants Manchester United and Manchester City that are reportedly ready to offer € 150 million for the former Liverpool ace next summer.
According to reports from Spain, Barcelona have already had a meeting with the player’s entourage who is going to be offered a long-term deal as well as huge pay rise.
Scorer of 10 goals in the opening 16 games of the season, Suarez is being named as the best striker of last season having won the Golden boot thanks to his 40 goals in 35 LaLiga games last term.
The 29-year-old striker netted 59 goals in 53 games in all competitions in the 2015-16 campaign.
Suarez joined Barcelona from Liverpool in a € 82 million move in summer 2014.
